Congratulations
TO OUR TAXDIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS!
TaxDiversity is pleased to announce the winners of our 2010 scholarship program. We would like to thank all students who applied and commend them on their achievements and goals. We received many impressive applications making our decisions more difficult.
We would like to offer our congratulations to:
Donglin Li
Donglin Li is pursuing a Master's of Science in Taxation from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University. Donglin also holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Nankai University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, both in Tianjin, China.
Prior to enrolling in Suffolk University, Li worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a Senior Associate in their Beijing office assisting US expatriates with their tax returns. Li also worked at the International Chamber of Commerce promoting cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises. He is an enrolled agent.
"During my study here, I have had the opportunity to learn different aspects of the US tax laws and understand the development of the tax system. I have obtained a deep insight into US taxation on individuals, corporations, estates and gifts, and pass-through entities. This knowledge will help me in my future career in the tax profession that requires practitioners to build and keep good business relationships with clients," said Li.
Duniel Mirabel
Duniel Mirabel is working on his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Florida International University. He holds an Associate Degree in Arts with a major in accounting from Miami Dade College, where he received the Academic Excellence Award for Miami Dade College Business School North Campus.
