Maurice Agresta currently serves as Tax Counsel and VP of Public Affairs for United Parcel Service.  Maurice received a BS in Accounting from Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City, a JD from Fordham University and an LLM in taxation from New York University.   

Maurice was admitted to the New York Bar in February of 1983. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Tax Executive Institute.  Maurice has been with UPS since 1986 during which he was VP of Tax for 15 years. He has worked on many different issues and has personally been involved in domestic and foreign APAs, large case mediation, audit memoranda of understanding, a tax court case and the appeal.
