Ahmed Rubaie is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ariba, Inc, the leading provider of Spend Management solutions.  Mr. Rubaie joined Ariba, Inc in July 2008 from Avery Dennison where he served as vice president of finance in the Retail Information Services group, and as corporate vice president of internal audit and tax. Prior to joining Avery Dennison in 2000, Mr. Rubaie held several key finance positions at BHP, a global natural resource company, in San Francisco, Santiago, Chile and Melbourne, Australia.  From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Rubaie worked as an international tax consultant in Detroit, Michigan, and Washington, D.C., at the public accounting firms of Deloitte & Touche and Coopers & Lybrand.

In 1988, Mr. Rubaie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management from Albion College in Albion, Mich., and in 1992 he earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit School of Law.
